Nokia today launched the N96 in the U.S, a flagship smartphone with a 5.0-megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics, turn-by-turn voice navigation, 16GB of internal memory, N-Gage gaming and a large 2.8-inch display.With a 5.0-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, the N96 captures high-quality videos at 30 frames per second. It stores up to 40 hours of video in common formats such as MPEG-4, Windows Media Video and Flash Video.
A vivid 2.8-inch display, built-in 3D stereo speakers. and 'kickstand' on the back cover let users sit back and watch.
The N96 is compatible with high-speed 3G HSDPA networks in the US (850 and 1900 MHz). Integrated geotagging lets users mark the location of new images. Navigation includes maps with urban detail as well as satellite views.

The Nokia N96 is now available through the Nokia Flagship stores in New York and Chicago, online and a number of independent retailers for an estimated costs of $895.
